Bari Sklar Would Like You to Know He Plays Like Phil Ivey

Razz:

Bari Sklar has turned out to be one of the more colorful and talkative players at his table, which boasts a lineup consisting of Chris Ferguson, Andy Black, Bill Chen and Allen Kessler.

After taking down a razz pot with a 10-8 low, Sklar jumped out of his seat, declaring, "I play like Phil Ivey! I win. I raise a ten!" That hand took his stack to 78,000.

He took a pot off Barry Greenstein a few hands later with an 8-7 low. Again, the Ivey routine.

"Playing like Phil Ivey over here, boys!" he shouted to no one in particular.

On the next hand, still in the razz round, Sklar made another 10-8 low that held up to win the pot. After this win, he headed straight to Table 13, where the man himself is seated.

"I play like you, Phil!" he said.

Ivey sort of shook his head and turned back to the action at his own table.
