We pointed that out to Tournament Director Brooks Turk and he announced to the crowd, "We just played our 300th hand...so we're halfway done". It took the folks in the audience a few seconds before they laughed at the joke, perhaps in part because they're tired, perhaps in part because they think he might be right.
