Two Bustouts

In back to back hands on different tables, George Markakis and Mojgan Stringham were eliminated, the latter by Jonas Klausen. They both receive $4,752.

Chris Bjorin Eliminated in 22nd Place ($4,752)

Men "The Master" Nguyen completed his {K-Diamonds} door card, only to see Chris Bjorin raise him with the {A-Hearts}. Nguyen called, as did James Richburg with the {6-Diamonds}. Bjorin bet all in on fourth after catching the {4-Spades}. Nguyen called with the {10-Hearts}, then called again when Richburg raised the {2-Clubs}. Nguyen hit his gin card on fifth street, the {3-Diamonds}, which matched two other threes he had in the hole. He managed to fold Richburg out of the hand on sixth. All Bjorin could come up with was a pair of fours for high with no low. He is eliminated in 22nd place and will collect $4,752.

Kozlove Doubles

For the short stacks, it's time to double up or go home. Larry Kozlove chose the former. He was all in on third street with {5-Hearts} {4-Clubs} / {6-Clubs} again Ryan Hughes' {7-Clubs} {2-Spades} / {3-Hearts}. By the end, Kozlove made two pair, aces and sixes, and a 6-5 low to scoop the pot. He doubled up to about 26,000.

We're Guessing "Smokes a Check" is No Good Either

As play stretches into the night, the patience of players is beginning to wear thin. On a recent hand, Men "The Master" Nguyen checked seventh street as his card was dealt, prompting the dealer to declare, "Check in the dark."

"Why did you say check in the dark?" asked an irritated Nguyen. "I didn't say check in the dark."

The dealer quickly apologized, but Nguyen continued. "It's not your job to say 'check in the dark.' Do your job."
