All In Scoop!

Tim D'Alessandro and Danial Devitis recently tangled, with Devitis winding up all in after fifth street. The boards were:

D'Alessandro: {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs} / {6-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}
Devitis: {7-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} / {4-Hearts}{A-Spades} {7-Hearts}

Devitis had aces up against D'Alessandro's low draw. Sixth street bricked for D'Alessandro with the the {10-Hearts} and made a low draw for Devitis with the {5-Diamonds}. Down the river, D'Alessandro caught another deuce for two pair, fives and deuces, with no low. Devitis didn't need his low, although he made it anyway when he also caught a deuce. He scooped the whole pot to chip up to about 11,000.

D'Alessandro slips to 40,000.

Tony G Eliminated

It was a tough break for Tony G. Short-stacked, he raised James Richburg's bring-in showing the {5-Diamonds}. Richburg, with the {3-Diamonds} reraised. Eventually all of Tony G's chips were in the middle.

Tony G: {5-Spades} {K-Spades} / {5-Diamonds}
Richburg: {5-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} / {3-Diamonds}

The dealer ran out both players' boards. Tony G never improved from his pair of fives and was unable to come up with a qualifying low. Richburg caught running queens on sixth and seventh streets to make a pair of queens and eliminate Tony G.

Arganian Exits in Anger

We did not witness the hand on which Dave Arganian was eliminated. We did, however, witness the aftermath. One section of the Brasilia Room is currently blocked off with chairs for a tournament that will start later today. Arganian viciously kicked several of the chairs over so that he could make a beeline for the exit, rather than walk around.

"Must be nice to be John Phan," the Razor says, as he scoops the pot. Ethier was busted on the very next hand by David Singer.
