The players are unbagging and stacking their chips and we're just a few minutes away from the start of play. There are 106 players remaining in today's field dispersed over 12 tables. Play will begin shortly.

Day 2 of the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em w/Rebuys Begins at 2 pm

The players were gambling it up yesterday during the first two hours of the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em w/Rebuys event. Players were shoving with any two cards--when they could be bothered to even look at them. We had tables with as many as five players at a time moving in blind, all trying to either build up a massive stack or lead the field in shouting out "Rebuy!" when they busted yet again.

Play settled down when the rebuy period drew to a close and the cream started to rise to the top. Phil Ivey enters play today as our chip leader, followed closely by Amit Makhija, who's coming off a final-table appearance in Event #1, the $10,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em World Championship. Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, John Juanda, and many other well-known players remain in the hunt, so please join us when play resumes this afternoon at 2pm PST,
