Hand #3 - Kido Pham

Kido Pham has the button in Seat 1. Michael Mizrachi limps in, as do Greg Hurst and Pham. Brandon Moran folds from the small blind, and big blind Peter Jetten knocks the table.

The flop comes out {Q-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {4-Spades}. Action checks around to Kido Pham, and he puts out a bet of 80,000. Everyone ducks out, and Pham takes down the pot.

Hand #2 - Tom Hanlon

[Removed:14] has the button in Seat 9. Michael Mizrachi limps in before Tom Hanlon raises pot. Action folds back to Mizrachi, who reraises enough to put Hanlon all in. Hanlon makes the call, and just like that we have our first player all in.

Mizrachi: {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}
Hanlon: {A-Clubs} {a-Diamonds} {k-Spades} {6-Hearts}

The flop comes down no help to either player: {K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. The turn {K-Hearts} improves Hanlon to three kings, but brings a flush draw in hearts for Mizrachi. The river is the prettiest card in the deck, the {A-Spades} (because it's always the {A-Spades}). That makes aces full of kings for Hanlon. He doubles up.

Hand #1 - Tom Hanlon

Marty Smyth has the button in Seat 8. Action folds around to the cutoff, where Tom Hanlon raises the pot; 84,000 to go. Everyone folds, and he takes down the first pot of our final table.

Final Table Bios: Seat 9 -- [Removed:14] (372,000)

[Removed:14] has been playing pretty well for the last two days for a person who claims that he never plays pot-limit omaha. Maybe he took some of his own advice as one of the co-authors of Poker for Dummies. Originally born in Casablanca (but don't call him "Rick"), Harroch currently makes his home in San Francisco, where he works as a venture capitalist and lawyer. He has played at the World Series of Poker for the last ten years, making one other final table but never capturing a gold bracelet.

Final Table Bios: Seat 8 -- Marty Smyth (1,068,000)

Marty Smyth is the other Irish player today's final table. He and Tom Hanlon should have a cheering (and drinking) section to rival any we've seen so far in this year's World Series. Smyth has come to Las Vegas from his home in Belfast. He has been a professional poker player for six years and was the winner of the 2007 Irish Open.

Final Table Bios: Seat 7 --Tom Hanlon (192,000)

There are two Irish players at today's final table. 41-year-old Tom Hanlon is one of them. Originally a bridge player, Hanlon has spent quite a bit of time at the poker table as well. This is his very first final table at the World Series of Poker. He is hoping to avenge an early elimination from this event last year.

Final Table Bios: Seat 6 -- Greg Hurst (637,000)

Greg Hurst has quite a story to tell his friends and family back home in Tazewell, Tennessee. In his first year at the World Series of Poker, he has made a final table in the prestigious $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event. He has one previous final table this year, finishing third in the mixed pot-limit Omaha / pot-limit hold'em event.

Final Table Bios: Seat 5 -- Billy Argyros (729,000)

Billy "The Croc" Argyros is 50 years old and comes to us from Melbourne, Australia. He is an accounts manager, and he picked up poker by playing in the home game of fellow-Aussie Mel Judah. The Croc has been playing cards for 20 years now, and has participated in ten WSOPs. He has five career cashes, but today he hopes to go one better and capture his first gold bracelet.
