Smyth Takes One Off of Pham

On a flop of {10-Spades} {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts}, Kido Pham bet 40,000. Marty Smyth, who had checked the action to Pham, thought and then called. Both players checked through the {8-Spades} turn. On the river {10-Clubs}, Smyth checked a third time. Pham took that as his cue to bet 144,000, but Smyth made the call and tabled the winning hand: {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}. His double-suited aces didn't make anything better than two pair, aces and tens, but upon seeing the hand, Pham mucked his own.

There was some smack-talk between the two after Smyth picked off the bluff. We'll keep an eye on it to see how it develops.
