Paulo Nunes Eliminated in 22nd Place ($17,276)

Voitto Rintala raised to 35,000 from early position. Action folded to Paulo Nunes in the cutoff seat and he shoved all in for 85,000 total. Rintala made the call and the players showed:

Rintala: {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}
Nunes: {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}

Nunes was in good shape to double up but his hopes quickly eroded when the flop came {8-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {4-Hearts}. The turn and river were no help, falling the {6-Clubs} and {9-Spades} respectively, and Nunes was sent packing.

That Action is Not Binding

David Daneshgar stood up during a hand to stretch his legs and he accidentally bumped the table, causing a whole stack of chips to fall and splash into the middle of the table.

"That is not a raise," Farzad Rouhani deadpanned.

Bouncing Right Back

Shortly after losing a big pot to a three-outer on the river, Elliot Smith doubled through Dan Heimiller. Dan raised to 40,000 under the gun and Smith moved all in for 175,000 from the small blind. Heimiller called and found that his {K-Hearts} {Q-Spades} was dominated by Smith's {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. The {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {A-Clubs} flop gave Smith top pair and Heimiller a gutshot draw but this time Elliot's hand held up as the board ran out {8-Hearts} {4-Hearts}. Smith is up to 355,000 while Heimiller fell to 780,000.

Joe Neiman Eliminated in 23rd Place ($17,276)

Action folded to David Daneshgar on the button and he raised to 36,000. Joe Neiman moved all in from the small blind for 96,000 total and Daneshgar made the call. The players showed:

Neiman: {J-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}
Daneshgar: {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs}

Neiman failed to improve as the board came {8-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}. Daneshgar is up to just short of 400,000 after the hand.

Farzad Rouhani Doubles Through Andrey Zaichenko

Farzad Rouhani raised to 37,000 from early position. Andrey Zaichenko called from late position and the two took a flop heads up.

The flop came {9-Spades} {8-Hearts} {5-Spades} and Rouhani bet 32,000. Zaichenko raised to 100,000 staright and Rouhani moved all in for a total of 244,000. Zaichenko called and was shocked to see Rouhani turn over {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}. He shook his head and rolled over {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}.

The turn came the {A-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts}. Rouhani doubled up to just over 585,000 and left Andrey Zaichenko with just shy of 770,000.

Always on the River

Under the gun Todd Hanks raised to 40,000 and Elliot Smith reraised to 100,000. Hanks pushed for 272,000 and Smith called with pocket aces to Hanks' pocket nines.

The {K-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {8-Spades} flop brought Hanks no help, nor did the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. He was one card away from elimination when the dealer put the {9-Spades} down on the felt, rescuing Hanks and winning him a 555,000 pot. Smith was left with just 185,000 after losing that huge pot on the river.

Dan Harmetz Eliminated In 24th Place ($17,276)

After Joachim Berg-Jensen raised to 20,000 Andrey Zaichenko moved all in from the small blind (he had the table covered) and Harmetz called from the big blind. Berg-Jensen got out of the way and Zaichenko's {Q-Spades} {J-Clubs} was pitted against Harmetz's pocket eights.

Harmetz kept the lead after the {9-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {3-Spades} flop and the {9-Diamonds} on the turn but Zaichenko spiked the {J-Hearts} on the river and eliminated Harmetz. Zaichenko is now up around 1 million in chips.

Anders Fraulund Eliminated in 26th Place ($17,276)

Andrey Zaichenko raised to 23,000 and Anders Fraulund called in the big blind. Both players checked the {5-Spades} {Q-Spades} {8-Spades} flop, but when the {8-Diamonds} turned Fraulund bet 35,000, Zaichenko raised enough to set Fraulund all in, and Anders made the call. And learned that Andrey flopped the flush with {A-Spades} {2-Spades} to his {K-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}. Anders needed an eight or a queen but the river brought the {7-Hearts} and he was eliminated. Zaichenko is now up to 780,000.

Andrew Garvin in 27th Place ($17,276)

Heimiller raised to 40,000 and Garvin moved in for his last 180,000. He soon found that his pocket nines were crushed by Heimiller's pocket aces and though he picked up a gutshot draw on the turn, the river was a blank and Garvin was eliminated. Heimiller is now up to 955,000.
