Andrew Garvin Eliminates Gary Marcum

The short-stacked Garvin moved all in and the shorter-stacked Marcum called. To find that Garvin had pocket aces to his {A-Diamonds} {8-Hearts}. Marcum wasn't able to crack Garvin's aces and he was eliminated, while Andrew's stack is still on the short side at 160,000.

Michael Andrews Eliminated

The exact action is unclear, but Michael Andrews just got his pink slip from this event. Andrews took his {K-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} up against the {8-Hearts} {8-Spades} of Corwin Cole and came up short on the {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} board. Andrews took a walk while Cole is now up to 523,000 chips.

Gary Biggar Doubles Through Richard Kirsch

Gary Biggar moved all in from early position for 56,500 and Richard Kirsch made the call from middle position. Action folded around and the players showed:

Biggar: {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}
Kirsch: {9-Spades} {9-Clubs}

The flop hit Biggar hard coming {Q-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. The turn gave a bit of a sweat coming the {2-Clubs} but the {8-Diamonds} was a blank and Biggar doubled to 133,000. Kirsch, meanwhile, is at about 340,000 after the hand.

Oops

After an {A-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {7-Spades} flop David Yi moved all in. His move was ill-timed--Petter Fransson had flopped a full house with {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and Yi was eliminated.

Dan Heimiller Eliminates Bryan Byerly

As our chip leader Dan Heimiller threw his weight around and made a huge 200,000 raise from late position and Bryan Byerly looked him up from the small blind and committed his last 60,000 with {A-Clubs} {J-Spades}. Heimiller held {K-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} and after missing on the {2-Clubs} {6-Spades} {9-Spades} flop Heimiller caught the {7-Hearts} on the turn to take the lead and the {7-Diamonds} to win the hand. He's now up to around 580,000 and Byerly is out of the tournament.

Anders Fraulund Eliminates Vanessa Rousso

Vanessa Rousso raised to 20,000 and Anders Fraulund called from the big blind. The flop came {6-Spades} {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} Rousso checked and Fraulund chose not to mess around with bet sizing and moved all in for 185,000. Rousso made the call for her last 135,000 and found that her {9-Spades} {9-Hearts} were up against Fraulund's {K-Spades} {J-Spades}. The {Q-Diamonds} brought Anders no help but he caught the {Q-Spades} on the river to make his flush and eliminated Vanessa. He's now up to around 330,000.
