Aneel Choppa Eliminated

Action folded around to Aneel Choppa in late position and he moved all in for approximately 50,000. Lars Nielsen called from the small blind and the players showed:

Choppa: {J-Clubs}

Nielsen:

It was a race situation and Choppa came up short as the board fell {A-Hearts}

. Choppa hit the payout line and Nielsen stacked a pot bringing his total chip count to about 155,000.

Action folded around to Marco Adams in the cutoff seat and he moved all in for 22,000. When it got to Scott Sitron in the big blind, he went into the tank. With 8,000 already in the pot, Sitron agonized over the call, at one point saying "man my hand is bad." He eventually called however and the players showed:

Adams: {5-Clubs}

Sitron:

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}

and Adams was eliminated. Sitron is now a force with about 590,000 chips.

We started this event with 2,693 players and Dan Heimiller and Esther Garza were seated at the same table. We're now down to 45 players...and Dan Heimiller and Esther Garza are again sitting at the same table. If both can survive 36 more eliminations they'll both find themselves at tomorrow's final table.

After seeing a {10-Clubs}

flop An Tran moved in for his last 60,000 and Jeff Courtney made the call. Courtney possibly thought his {A-Clubs}

needed some help but when Tran turned over {7-Clubs}

Jeff found that he was actually in the lead. The {A-Diamonds}

on the turn sealed Tran's fate and he was eliminated, while Courtney chipped up to 140,000.
