In a blind-versus-blind hand, Dario Minieri got the rest of his chips in the middle against John Monette -- Monnette holding pocket nines to Minieri's K-Q. Minieri could not improve and everyone's favorite scarf-wearing Italian was eliminated.
Phil Ivey was just seen running from his table out of the Amazon Room. In the process, he nearly trampled a chip runner, which would have resulted in spilling chips everywhere. He wasn't done there. In an effort to miss as few hands as possible, Ivey came running back into the room as well, over knocking over a few field reporters this time. I suppose he does have enough money to pay for any damages he may cause.

Greg "FBT" Mueller began the event today like everyone else, with 20,000 chips and a table full of fellow professionals. Since the first minute, Mueller has been found with the same massage therapist working out the aches and pains in his muscles. It's been over six hours now and we're all starting to feel for the beautiful woman's poor hands.
Mueller has been known to get massages for entire tournaments at times, from the same massage therapist every tournament. Superstition it may be, but as he continues to build a stack, why make a change?
Jason Lester and Tom "durrrr" Dwan were on the second draw of a 2-7 triple draw hand. Lester drew one card while Dwan opted for two. After drawing, Lester led and was raised by Dwan. Lester called.
Both players decided to act strong and stand pat for the third draw. At the showdown, Dwan showed first, 3-4-5-7-8. Lester was upset and reached into the middle of the table to the spread deck and grabbed the top card to see what he would have drawn had he taken another card. In disgust, Lester slammed his hand to the table along with the card he would have had.
Dwan increased to 23,000 and Lester dropped to 33,000.
