Lawson Busts Another

Ted Lawson bet 1,500 on a flop of {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. His opponent moved all in for 3,000 more, and Lawson pondered his decision.

As soon as he went into the tank, every other player from the table got up. Lawson has been taking quite a bit of time to make each of his decisions this afternoon, and his tablemates are fed up. After Ted asked his opponent, "Are you on a draw?" his opponent called for a clock.

One of the other players at the table then asked the floor, "Can you just stay here so we can call a clock on him every time?"

"Don't talk right now," Lawson snapped back.

Lawson did finally make the call, tabling {10-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}. His opponent showed {Q-Spades} {7-Hearts}. Lawson was in trouble, but was bailed out when the board came {2-Clubs}{J-Spades} to make him a straight and bust his opponent.
