Porter Continues to Crush Opponents

The chip leader, Rep Porter, continues to add to his stack. Most recently, he called a raise to 4,000 on the button. The big blind called all in behind him for less. On a flop of {A-Spades} {10-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}, the preflop raiser checked to Porter, who bet 5,000. The preflop raiser immediately folded, allowing Porter to drag the side pot and leaving him heads-up for the main pot. He opened pocket eights for a set of eights, which crushed the {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts} of the big blind. The board bricked out, and the main pot was pushed to Porter as well.

He now has over 140,000 in chips.
