Arfa Out

Hold'em

In early position, Surinder Sunar limped into the pot first. Betting folded around to the cutoff seat where Hevad Khan popped it up to 12,000. In the big blind, David Arfa three-bet it up to 42,000. Sunar flat-called, but Khan thought it best to duck out of the way.

The flop came down {K-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}, and Arfa moved all in for his remaining 25,000. Sunar snap-called, turning over {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}. Arfa was at risk for his tournament life and very far behind with his {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts}. Looking to fill in his gutshot straight, Arfa watched the final board of his tournament fill out with the {Q-Hearts} and {Q-Spades}. Sunar's queens full was plenty good to win him the pot, chipping up to 210,000 and eliminating David Arfa in 31st place.
