Jeff Finucane Exits in 13th Place

A full double up for Mike Carlson with pocket aces left Jeff Finucane and his thoroughly beaten {K-Spades}

with just 20,000. He got it in under the gun the next hand and got called by Michael Dyer in the big blind; a swift and painless finish for Finucane in 13th place.

Clogged Hartery

John Hartery moved all in, but Brent Sheirbon apparently didn't notice this and attempted to make a standard raise form the button. The floor was called, and it was ruled that he could fold but his attempted raise would be forfeited. He folded.

Perhaps lured by the thought of those extra chips in the pot, David Mandt called from the small blind, but sighed mightily when he saw Hartery's hand.

And no sooner had that been typed up, than a raising war erupted between Peter Rho and Chris Taylor, resulting in all the chips going in preflop, Taylor all in for his tournament life.

Thus we lose a sighing Taylor, while Rho is up to 1.2 million.

Doubling Best Thing to Happen to Carlson All Day

Mike Carlson, down to 250,000 or so, open-shoved, only for Michael Dyer to re-shove to his left. Everyone else folded. The cards were flipped, and Carlson sighed.

Von Sachsen Knackered

Olav von Sachsen raised under the gun, and it folded around to Anthony Harb on the button who moved all in to cover von Sachsen. A swift call, and they were coinflipping...

Chip leader Michael Dyer raised in mid position, but was met with a reraise from Adam Adler in the small blind -- and then a shove from Anthony Harb in the big blind for 580,000 total. Dyer swiftly got out of the way, and Adler tanked up for a while, before eventually passing.
