Power Poker on the Bubble

No-Limit Hold'em:

Vitaly Lunkin opened for 13,000 from middle position, Matt Hawrilenko reraised to 40,000, and Brian Powell moved all in for 140,000 from the big blind. Both players folded and Powell showed {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs}

Gelencser's Elimination Bursts Bubble

No-Limit Hold'em:

Joe Serock opened from UTG for 14,000, Peter Gelencser reraised to 42,000 from the big blind, Serock moved all in and Gelencser called all in for his remaining 210,000.

Gelencser {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}
Serock {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}

The board ran out {J-Spades} {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {2-Clubs} , Serock's pocket queens holding up to send Gelencser home as the unfortunate bubble boy. The pot moved Serock into the chip lead with 640,000.

All 24 players remaining are in the money and guaranteed at least $16,649.

You Lucky Huck!

Stud-8:

Huck Seed: {4-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Brian Mizok: {A-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {6-Spades} {2-Hearts}

On fifth street, the action looked like Seed had 3-bet against Mizok. sixth saw Mizok lead again though and Seed raised once more, again with a call. On seventh Mizok checked and Seed bet yet again. Mizok scooped up his cards and threw what looked to be {A-?} {4-?} {6-?} into the muck for aces up and a missed draw to a six-low.

Big Antes... Shallow Stacks

At 24 players remaining, the average stack is currently 242,500. With the betting limits up to 12,000-24,000 that's just shy of ten big bets in the limit games.

Additionally, the NLHE portion of the rotation is currently playing with 3,000-6,000 blinds and a 2,000 ante, creating an already-massive 25,000 pot before action even begins.

Allie Prescott Triples Up

No-Limit Hold'em:

Allie Prescott moved all in for 24,000 from middle position and got two callers-- Scott Dorin in the small blind and David Chiu in the big.

Miraculously, Prescott's {2-Spades} {6-Spades} ended up as the best hand, the board running out {7-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {2-Clubs} to make him two pair and triple his stack to 88,000.

Brian Mizok Eliminated in 23rd Place ($16,649)

No-Limit Hold'em:

Brian Mizok took his {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} up against Ville Wahlbeck's {K-Hearts} {6-Hearts} in a preflop all in. Though he hit top pair in the {J-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {5-Hearts} flop, Wahlbeck flopped a flush. The turn was the {J-Diamonds}, making him trips and leaving a ray of hope for his survival should the board pair, but the river fell the {6-Hearts} and Mizok departed in 23rd place.

Great (Pre)Scott! Harris Pavlou Out In 22nd ($16,649)

No Limit Hold'em:

David Chiu raised to 18,000. Harris Pavlou (He must own a dog surely?) moved all in and Allie Prescott pushed behind. Joe Serock moved all in too now and Chiu got out of the way.

Pavlov: {10-Hearts} {10-Spades}
Prescott: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}
Serock: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}

The board came {Q-?} {J-?} {4-?} {6-?} {A-Clubs} making Prescott two pair to triple up to just over 300,000. Pavlou was knocked out for a small side pot by Serock to leave us with just 21 players left.
