Pros on the Rail: Cyndy Violette

Fresh from her induction into the Women's Poker Hall of Fame, Cyndy Violette has arrived in the Amazon Room and appears to be sweating Mike Wattel over at Table 70.

Even more newsworthy is her outfit-- a short black dress with a feathered skirt and sky-high strappy sandals.

Hanson Sung Their Final Tune

Limit Hold'em:

No it wasn't Mmmm-bop, that crazy pop hit beloved by so many of the internet kids.

Adam Friedman raised from the button, Steve Sung raised all in and John Hanson called all in.

Friedman: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Sung: {7-Spades} {6-Spades}
Hanson: {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades}

The board was {Q-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} and Friedman eliminated both players.

"Must be nice!" shouted someone from the rail.

Allie Prescott Likes Kings

Limit Hold'em:

Allie Prescott raised from UTG, James Van Alstyne called on the button and Joe Tehan called from the big blind. The flop came down {J-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {4-Spades}. Tehan led out, Prescott raised, Van Alstyne called and Tehan folded. The turn was the {6-Hearts}. Prescott bet and Van Alstyne called. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Prescott bet one more time. Van Alstyne called.

Prescott turned up {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} and Van Alstyne mucked. Prescott is now up to 155,000.

Bran-Done

Stud:

Adams: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {3-Spades} {9-Spades}
Serock: {K-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}

Brandon Adams was all in for his last 17,000 after Joe Serock raised his bring-in. Adams seemed to be miles ahead with two pair but Serock caught runner-runner flush to bust him out and move up to 500,000.

Jung Out to Dry

Razz:

Doyle Brunson ({A-Diamonds})({4-Hearts}){5-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}({6-Hearts})
Alexander Jung ({3-Clubs})({4-Diamonds}){A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}({7-Hearts})

After a raising war on third street, Alexander Jung was all in for his remaining 57,000 vs. Doyle Brunson. Big Papa ended up making a 6-5 low by seventh street, besting Jung's 7-5 and he hit the rail. Brunson is now up to 355,000.

Diamonds are Not Marc Karam's Best Friend

Stud:

Marc Karam was all in on third against James Van Alstyne.

Karam: {7-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {J-Clubs} {Q-Spades}
Van Alstyne: {A-Spades} {4-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}

Somehow Karam had a straight-flush draw on fourth and managed to brick three consecutive streets despite being 3-1 favourite on fourth. Perplexed, he went to the rail after Van Alstyne managed to catch a pair of aces on fifth and it was just enough.
