Altinbas No Longer Jacked Up

Garrett Beckman pushed all in for 127,000 from middle position, and Oktay Altinbas made the call from the small blind. Beckman turned over {A-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Altinbas {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

As the players stood up, Altinbas started to become animated. "No ace! C'mon, no ace!" he shouted. Then, "jack, jack." He actually started doing jumping jacks as he called out his requests. Whether he realized he was a visual pun is unclear.

Alas, an ace flopped -- {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. And the turn and river -- {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} -- didn't help Altinbas. He's now down to 11,000, while Beckman has 172,000.

Vance, Gildea Out

Matt Vance was just eliminated in 33rd place.

After that, Ian Kim raised all in from under the gun, and a short-stacked Sean Gildea called with the last of his chips from the small blind. Gildea showed {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, while Kim turned over {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The board came {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and Gildea is out in 32nd.

Both Vance and Gildea earn $11,886.

Kim Out

Shortly after Ian Kim knocked out Sean Gildea, Kim was all in again with {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} but was unfortunately up against Roland de Wolfe's {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}.

The board came {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and Kim is out in 31st ($11,886). De Wolfe is up to 495,000.

John Hoang Triples Up

Philip Sousa raised to 27,000 from middle position and John Hoang moved all in for 135,000. Jochen Dickinger flat called from the button as did Sousa.

The board came {Q-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {3-Spades} with both Dickinger and Sousa checking it down. Hoang flipped over {K-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for a flush and his two opponents mucked.

Hoang yelled out "Yes, Yes, Yes!" as he tripled up.

John Hoang - 425,000
Philip Sousa - 482,000
Jochen Dickinger - 390,000

Lagarde out in 30th

Matt Lagarde pushed all in from under the gun, and John Hoang called from the small blind.

Hoang {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Lagarde {J-Spades}{9-Spades}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, and Lagarde was in the lead. The turn was {8-Diamonds}, and he was still good. But the {A-Spades} spiked on the river, giving Hoang the better pair.

Lagarde is out in 30th ($11,886), and Hoang is up to 490,000.

Gregg Merkow Doubles Big

From early position Gregg Merkow raised to 31,000. Action folded around to Jochen Dickenger, in the big blind, who made a huge all in shove. With 213,000 behind, Merkow took his time before calling with {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}. Dickinger showed {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts}.

The flop came {8-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts}, leaving Dickinger drawing stone dead.

Merkow doubles up in a big way and is now just over 250,000.
