Darryll Fish Eliminates Robert Leppo

Darryll Fish raised to 20,000 from the cutoff and got called by Robert Leppo from the big blind.

Leppo then check-raised all in after Fish bet 26,000 on a flop of {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}. Fish made the call and turned over {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for Broadway while Leppo showed {Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for second pair. When the board ran out {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}, Leppo's tournament was over in 28th place.

Just before Leppo was busted, Nenad Medic was knocked out of the tournament on another table. He went out 29th.

Kopp Wins a Monster; Slaubaugh Eliminated

David Pham raised to 29,000 preflop and Brian Slaubaugh reraised all in for his last 100,000. Billy Kopp liked his hand enough to make the call and Pham got out of the way.

Slaubaugh: {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Kopp: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

When Slaubaugh couldn't improve on a board of {5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}, he departed in 30th place. Kopp, meanwhile, boosted his stack to 870,000.

Bonding Doubles Through Verrett

We approached the table with the cards already out, but we assume that the chips were all in preflop. Steve Verrett was holding pocket sevens but cutting down chips to pay off his short-stacked opponent, Lars Bonding, who held {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} on a board of {10-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}.

Bonding doubles up to 210,000 with Verrett now slipping back to 150,000.

Brian Lemke Doubles Up

Matthias Neu raised to 20,000 preflop and Brian Lemke reraised all in for 155,000. Neu tanked for nearly a minute before calling.

Lemke showed pocket fours and trailed Neu's pocket eightss, but a four in the window changed things as the flop came {4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Spades}. When Neu bricked with the {A-Clubs} on the turn and {10-Clubs} on the river, Lemke doubled to 310,000.

Boyd Kopp'd

Terry Boyd has been eliminated after moving his last 35,000 into the middle from early position, before Faraz Jaka min-raised to 62,000 from the cutoff. Next to speak was Billy Kopp who reraised again, making it 160,000 to play. Boyd didn't mind the protection, but Jaka released and the cards were tabled.

Boyd: {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Kopp: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The flop was a good one for Boyd as it landed {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, but the {A-Spades} on the turn wasn't quite what he wanted. The {3-Clubs} bricked the river and Boyd was sent to the exit as Kopp moves up to 720,000.

Things Turning Sowers

When the action folded to Tom Braband on the button, he looked down at {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and decided to open-shove for around 120,000. Only problem was that Mike Sowers woke up with {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} in the small blind and made an insta-call.

The flop was {5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, giving the players a sweat as Braband had picked up a pair and chop outs with the straight draw. The turn was a brick with the {J-Spades}, however the "ooooohs" from the rail gave away that the river was a cruel {3-Clubs}, giving Braband trips to crack the aces of Sowers.

Braband wipes the sweat from his brow and sits back down behind 260,000 chips.
