Chop the Chips

Russell Crane raised to 115,000 from under the gun, and the table folded around to Jesse Rios who called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Rios checked, and Crane checked as well. The turn brought the {J-Diamonds}, and Rios pushed out a bet of 140,000.

Crane riffled his chips with his right hand as he eyed Rios sitting to his right. Finally, he made the call.

The river brought the {10-Hearts}, and both checked. Rios showed {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Crane {A-Spades}{4-Spades}. "Jeez!" said Rios afterwards with a smile, leaning back in his chair, reacting to the fact that their kickers didn't play.
