Vitaly Lunkin has the button. It folded around to Ted Forrest who completed from the small blind. Noah Schwartz then raised to 400,000 from the big blind, enough to put Forrest all in. Forrest thought a moment, then made the call.

The flop came all spades {9-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Spades}. Forrest had picked up a gutshot draw in addition to his overs, but he didn't want to see a fourth spade come. The turn was the {8-Hearts}, giving Forrest still more straight outs.

The river was the {4-Diamonds}, and Forrest was eliminated. Forrest wins $230,317 for finishing ninth. Schwartz now has 730,000.

Stern stood up from his seat and chomped on a stick of gum as he awaited his fate. The dealer burned and turned a {A-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {5-Clubs} flop, no help for Stern. The turn was the {Q-Hearts} giving Stern some more outs with the nut flush draw, but it was the {J-Diamonds} that spiked on the river, giving Stern the double-up.

Stern is up to 3,045,000.

Justin Bonomo has the button in Seat 6. He folds and Lex Veldhuis completes the small blind. Dani Stern checks his option and they both check the {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts} flop. The turn is the {7-Hearts} and Stern folds to Veldhuis' 100,000 bet.

Give the People What They Want

Many in the stands were on their feet to watch the first shown down hand of the night, with some making very specific requests of the dealer: "Eight!" "Jack!" "Three hearts!"

Following that chip shift, Justin Bonomo moves up into fourth place behind Isaac Haxton (5.94 million), Vitaly Lunkin (4.67 million), and Lex Veldhuis (3.705 million). Meanwhile, Raymer slips to sixth.

A cheer from the crowd last hand when the announcer said "We're going to see a flop!" Another followed when Isaac Haxton took the pot.

The players are exercising caution with their play thus far, although all seem quite relaxed, with Raymer and Haxton chatting consistently over on their side of the table.

The flop comes down {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}. Torelli bets 75,000 and Haxton raises to 300,000. Torelli doesn't look to happy with that raise and mucks his cards. Haxton wins the pot.
