Sebok Doubles, Opponent Complains

A short-stacked Joe Sebok has doubled up with {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts} in late position against the {7-Hearts} {8-Clubs} of a young gentleman in early position who was loudly complaining about something as the board came down a decisive {Q-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {4-Spades}. He's up to a still fairly shaky 25,000.

So Sick

World Heads Up Champion from a couple of years ago, Jeff Kimber has just been on a sick run of form to see his stack grow to 60,000.

The details are a bit rough but it went a little something like this:

All in for his last 11,000 with {Q-?} {10-?} he was called by a player who was holding {A-?} {K-?} and the board ran {K-?} {4-?} {4-?} {Q-?} {Q-?}.

The next hand he pushed from UTG with {A-Spades} {Q-Spades} and again found a caller with {A-?} {K-?}. Kimber went miles behind on the {K-Spades} {K-?} {2-?} flop but running spades were enough to get him out of it for another double up.

The last hand saw Kimber's turn to have {A-?} {K-?} and was up against an opponent's {3-?} {3-?}. No such sweat for him though as the flop came {A-?} {A-?} {A-?}! There was room to run salt into his opponent's wounds though as a three fell on the river.

Ice Ice Baby

Andy "BKiCe" Seth raised to 3,900 in mid position and then called the push for 11,000 total from the gentleman on the button.

Seth's pocket sixes held up when his opponent's {K-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} failed to spike, and while his unfortunate opponent is bust, Seth is up to 96,000.

Susan Saws Up the Opposition

Mitchell Garshofsky has been propelled out of the tournament by Susan Sawyer-Smith after her pocket jacks held up against his pocket fives. He is out of here, and she is up to a still below-average 38,000.

No Moor, Man

British online player Chris Moorman, a legend in his own laptop, is busto. He raised to 4,000 and then just shoved when another player made it 12,000 behind. Unfortunately for Moorman, his opponent was holding {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} and called; Moorman's {Q-?} {8-?} didn't really stand a chance and he is no more for this tournament.

It must be something in the air as pros are falling fast here in our corner of the Amazon Room.

In the latest installment there was a raise from the button before Nam Le pushed for his last 17,600 from the BB with {5-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}. The call was made with {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} that got there on a {K-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} {8-Hearts} board.
