John Horrocks Eliminated in 23rd Place ($5,995)

John Horrocks was severely short-stacked, and probably was going to be all in with most hands when he happened to pick up {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. He put his last chips in from middle position -- not even enough to call the big blind -- and both the blinds (Dale Burner and Ken Dickenson) were in as well.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and both Burner and Dickenson checked. When the turn brought the {J-Hearts}, Burner bet, Dickenson folded, and Burner showed {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for two pair. Horrocks still had plenty of outs, but the river was the {7-Diamonds} and he is eliminated in 23rd.
