Dale Burner Eliminated in 16th Place ($7,706)

Dale Burner
Dale Burner
Cole Miller raised from under the gun, and it folded around to Dale Burner who called from the big blind. The flop came {K-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Burner checked, and Miller bet 5,000. Burner then check-raised to 10,000, at which point all realized they weren't betting the right amounts -- bets before and after the flop are 10,000 on this level, not 5,000. So it ended up being just a bet and call.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}. Burner again checked, Miller bet, and Burner called. The {Q-Hearts} was dealt on the river, and again Burner checked, Miller bet, and Burner called.

Miller showed {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}, and Burner mucked. Miller was up to 152,000 on that one, and Burner down to just 17,000.

Soon after that hand, Burner was all in against two players (Miller and Richard Brodie) before the flop. Brodie bet Miller out of the pot on the turn when the board showed {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Brodie had {A-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a pair of eights, and Burner {Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}. The river was the {J-Spades}, and Burner was eliminated.

Brodie now has 141,000.
