No Action For Potter

Jason Potter in action

Jason Potter has received two walks on this final table.

One earlier with {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} and now with {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}.

There is an argument that it's a good thing that his big blind isn't getting raised . . . but when you find big pairs in the big blind; sometimes some action would be nice!

Win One, Lose One

After calling a 145,000-chip bet from Jason Potter, Jeff Chang was also joined by Rico Ramirez.

Chang lead out for 265,000 on the {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs} board, but after being check-raised all in by Ramirez he opted to lay his hand down.

The next hand, Chang opened to 180,000 and was called by Mike Eise.

Both players checked the {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} flop to find Eise check-call 250,000 on the turn and then check-fold on to 600,000 when the river peeled the {4-Spades}.

Order Up . . . Double Berger With Chips!

Rico Ramirez opened with a raise to 165,000 from under the gun, and once the action was passed round to Barry Berger in the big blind he pushed all in for his remaining 320,000.

Ramirez made the call tabling his {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} to be ahead of Berger's {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}.

Berger would order right when the board ran out {4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} spiking a pair to find a double to 695,000 as Ramirez slips to 4,175,000 in chips.

Jeff Chang got things motoring by opening under the gun to 180,000. Barry Berger folded, only to have Zack Fritz push all in for his remaining 815,000.

Once the action passed round to Mike Eise in the big blind he immediately announced call. With the crowd in a state of shock, Chang pushed his chips forward while announcing all in with Eise calling that as well.

Chang: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Fritz: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Eise: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} to see Chang triple to 2,700,000 as Fritz exits in 6th place to the tune of $111,266.

Chang Spikes Turn to Double

Jason Potter opened to 145,000 from the hijack and with the short-stacked Jeff Chang in the big blind, he committed the rest of his chips.

Potter called the additional 265,000 and tabled his {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} to be marginally favourite over Chang's {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} to see Chang double through to around 920,000 as Potter slips to 1,500,000 in chips.
