Missing Pieces

So far, Scott Fischman is alone at his table. His opponent is slated to be Yevgeniy Timoshenko, but the young pro is missing in action so far. Unlike Day 1, the absent player is being blinded off here on Day 2.

That problem is half as bad as the one on Table 251. Neither Matthew Woodward nor Justin Filtz is here yet, so it'll be difficult for either of them to pull ahead in their faceoff. The dealer is all alone in the box, flipping the cut card back and forth between his hands and looking rather bored.

Welcome back for Day 2 of the $10,000 World Championship of Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em! The starting field of 256 runners has been whittled down to just 64 through two quick rounds of action. The players are set to play two more rounds today, and we'll have our final sixteen players set by the time it's all said and done.

The players are mostly in their seats, with the chips being passed out and the last-minute paperwork being taken care of. We expect to be underway in just a few minutes so sit tight, we'll be right back with the action.
