Tran Out.

Theo Tran has been knocked out after reraising all in with {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} and finding a surprising call from {J-Clubs} {10-Spades}. The board came {7-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} and an annoyed Tran said, "How can you call? I've been playing so tight..." before he hit the rail.

Dinner Tasted Good After This

We found out the details of how Ken Lennard rocketed up to the chip lead just before dinner. There were two all-ins before he looked down to see {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} in the hole while in the BB. Call! He was up against {K-Diamonds} {J-Spades} and {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}.

The board came {Q-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {J-Hearts} to bust his opponents and put him up to 300,000.

Easy Game...

At least it is for Mika Paasonen. He held {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} on a {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} flop, even better that his opponent was holding {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} and prepared to go all the way.

Paasonen is way over 100,000 now.

No for Switzer

Phillip Yeh had just eliminated Brett Switzer. We're not sure when the chips went in but ultimately Yeh got lucky with {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} versus Switzer's {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} on a {10-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {9-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} board.

Yeh on 200,000 as a result.

Chau Giang Chau Giang

Kings in the hole
Kings in the hole
The short stacked Chau Giang raised to 8,000 from the high-jack before the BB set him all in. Giang snap called with {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} and saw he had to get past {A-Spades} {8-Clubs} of his opponent.

He did that on a {J-Spades} {5-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {4-Clubs} board. Giang doubles but is still fairly low in 55,000.

Can Vu Believe It?

The pot was heads up between Peter Feldman and David Vu and the flop was out reading {9-Hearts} {6-Spades} {10-Spades}. Feldman led for 15,000 as was called before the turn came {J-Hearts}. The rest of the chips soon went in with Feldman holding {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades} to Vu's {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}. Cooler of a hand as the board ran out with {4-Diamonds}.

Feldman down to 92,000, Vu up to 210,000.

Kelly Kim Busts

A player makes a standard raise before Kelly Kim moves all in for 45,000 with {10-?} {10-?}. The bet is called with the player holding {A-?} {Q-?}. An ace and a queen on a flop spells the end for last year's Main Event Final Table player.
