Painful River for Veldhuis

A raise from Greg Mueller in early position was met with a reraise from Lex Veldhuis; this in turn was met with a call from Chad Brown in the big blind and another call from Mueller.

Flop: {A-Hearts}

Brown and Mueller checked to Veldhuis who bet in position -- and back to Brown, who raised. Mueller called, and so did Veldhuis.

Turn: {9-Spades}

Now Brown bet out and Mueller called; Veldhuis gave it up though and they went heads up to the river.

River: {Q-Diamonds}

This river was rather unfortunate -- Veldhuis claimed afterwards that he'd folded pocket queens on the turn. Ouch. Brown flipped {A-Clubs}

and Mueller turned over {A-Spades}

. They chopped it up, and continued, while Veldhuis looked terribly sad.
