A Battle of the Big Names in Poker

We've just witnessed another massive pot with the action capped preflop three ways between a blogger's nightmare combination of Soheil Shamseddin, Matt Hawrilenko and Michiel Brummelhuis.

The flop was {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Brummelhuis fired a bet with both opponents making a call.

The same action went down on the {K-Hearts} turn with Brummelhuis leading the betting and both opponents making the call.

The {9-Diamonds} landed on the river and Brummelhuis slowed down and checked to Shamseddin who took the lead with a bet. Hawrilenko made a reluctant fold with Brummelhuis making the call.

Brummelhuis showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} but he'd been outflopped by the {8-Clubs}{8-Spades} of Shamseddin who took down the monstrous pot. He's now up with the leaders on around 475,000.
