Todd Brunson Eliminated in 14th Place ($32,693)

Todd Brunson - 14th Place
Todd Brunson - 14th Place
Mario Ho has obviously decided to kick things up a gear. In the first hand she three-bet preflop from the small blind against Soheil Shamseddin and eventually took it down with a river bet on the {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} board.

The very next hand Shamseddin raised again and Todd Brunson called. Mario Ho then reraised from the button and both opponents called.

The flop fell {6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and action checked to Ho who fired a bet. Shamseddin folded and Brunson check-raised. Ho quickly reraised to put Brunson all in and he made the call.

Brunson: {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Ho: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Very similar holdings and the table was a little surprised to see Ho's aggression with such a hand. She held the lead and didn't want to see a heart, but the turn and river bricked {A-Diamonds}, {J-Spades}. A disgruntled Brunson departed in 14th place to collect a payday of $32,693.
