Brummelhuis Pummels Brown

Michiel Brummelhuis is in much better shape now after getting involved with chip leader Chad Brown and coming out firmly on top, to the drunken delight of the Dutch element at the rail.

Brummelhuis in the big blind called a raise from Chad Brown and then check-raised him on the {J-Clubs} {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} flop. Brown called, and he called when Brummelhuis bet out on the {2-Diamonds} turn as well. The bet from Brummelhuis on the {2-Spades} river proved too much for Brown, though -- he passed and Brummlehuis took down the pot, to not inconsiderable cheering and waving around of Dutch beer glasses.

Brummelhuis: 600,000
Brown: still chip leader on 1,400,000
