Pezzin's Not Going Anywhere Just Yet

A minor recovery for Pat Pezzin, who raised his small blind and got called by Chad Brown in the big.

Pezzin bet out on the {8-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {7-Hearts} flop and called a raise from Brown; they both then cagily checked down the {Q-Spades} turn and {8-Diamonds} river, at which point Pezzin discovered that his {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} had got lucky against Brown's {K-Spades} {9-Clubs}.

------

The next hand and Pezzin picked up a few more chips when he forced a fold from Greg Mueller on the turn of a {K-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {9-Clubs} board.

Pezzin's up to 960,000; Mueller's down to a very similar 1 million in chips.
