Lisandro, Lellouche Liquidated

Jeff Lisandro - 33rd Place
Jeff Lisandro - 33rd Place
There's little that's worse than going on an extended break with a very small stack and then having to come back and play maybe five hands before busting. That's what happened to each of Jeff Lisandro and Anthony Lellouche.

Lisandro was crippled right before dinner. He survived a couple of miniscule double-ups before getting his stack in again with {K-Hearts} {j-Spades} {7-Spades} {8-Hearts} against Jonathan Cantor's {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}. Lisandro flopped two pair, {J-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, but a {6-Hearts} on the turn gave Cantor a bigger two pair. Lisandro couldn't improve with the river {6-Spades}. He's out in 33rd place.

Lellouche went out shortly thereafter, falling to Isaac Baron. Lellouche bet 16,000 on a flop of {K-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts} and Baron called. When the {6-Hearts} popped off on the turn, Lellouche checked. Baron bet 31,000, drawing a check-raise all in for 101,000 from Lellouche. Baron quickly called with the nuts, {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {7-Clubs}. Lellouche showed {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {8-Hearts}, a hand that left him looking for a heart on the river to stay alive. The river blanked {J-Diamonds}, sending Lellouch to the rail in 32nd place.
