No More Time for a November Nine

Chino Rheem has busted already. He was involved in a raised pot with Dan Mathes that brought a {7-?} {5-?} {5-?} board.

Rheem bet out 150 that was raised to 500. He called the raise and check called a 700 bet on {7-?} turn.

The river {J-?} prompted Rheem to push his remaining stack in. Mathes called and Rheem mucked saying "You got it". Mathes tabled {Q-?} {Q-?} and scooped in the pot.

The Pham-tom Menace

David 'The Dragon' Pham is already down to just 700 chips after an early scuffle or two.

This is slightly more than Fabrice Soulier though, who has already busted.

Late Arrivals

or I just missed them first time round:

Nick Binger
Humberto Brenes

Feel The Force

An early position raise was met with no respect as five players called to see a {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} flop. EP led out for 225 and only Leif Force called on the button.

The turn brought a 350 bet from EP that Force called once more. EP checked when {3-Clubs} fell on the river, a move that Force smiled widely at. Then he threw in his remaining 1,125 forcing his opponent to fold.

And Over...

The total number of entries on the board now reads 6,008 and is still rising. I think it's safe to assume the odd one or two might have snuck in as alternates very early on both yesterday and today...

Oh to be Erick Lindgren for a Day

Second to act, Erick Lindgren made it 125 to play. There was one caller before the big blind three bet to 475. Lindgren called after seeing how many chips the BB had but the other player folded.

The flop came {10-Spades} {6-Spades} {10-Clubs}. The BB checked to Lindgren who bet 600. Call. The turn prompted similar action just with the bet at 1,800. Call.

Once more the big blind check-called after seeing {8-Spades} river. The value squeezing bet was 2,000 this time. Lindgren showed {10-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} for trips and was good to beat the BB's {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}.

Lindgren up to 8,000 now.

Ivey Busto

Phil Ivey has been knocked out of the tournament, but when $1,000 is the amount you usually pay for your big blind, I doubt he'll be too concerned.

Ari Engel Faints

Over in the Blue section of the Amazon Room, Ari Engel briefly passed out during a hand. Luckily it was only for a few seconds and he's fine now.
