Event 4: $1,000 No Limit Hold'em - Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of the $1,000 event. We started with over 6,000 players and we're now down to the last 760 or so. 621 players will be getting paid with $1,894 for the bottom spot and a huge $771,106 for our winner as well as magnificent bracelet.

The players are debagging now even as we speak and, like the first two start days, we're expecting the action to fast furious though there will be a sudden lull around the time of the bubble. One of the favourites has to be former bracelet winner JC Tran, who is sitting amongst the chip leaders going into the start of the day.

At this point the Brasilia room, where all but seven of the tables are located (the others are in the Miranda room) is now buzzing with anticipation. The plan for today is to play until 3am with play restarting tomorrow at 1pm.

All that's left to do is for them to “Shuffle up and deal!”
