Harman Makes Round Two

Harman pushes through to round two
Harman pushes through to round two
On a flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Jen Harman bumped the action to 4,500 after being faced with a 1,950-chip bet.

Her opponent called and then both players checked the {A-Spades} on the turn before the {J-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Harman slid out a bet of 13,000 -- enough to put her opponent all in. He obliged, but was sent packing when Harman rolled her {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a flopped set of trips.

Winner on Table 30

Dan Makowsky managed to double through Phil Ivey, but the comeback didn't last long. It all went in preflop with Ivey dominating Makowsky's {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} with {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts}. The board ran out {2-Clubs} {10-Spades} {9-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {3-Spades}.

Ivey will return tomorrow.

Montgomery Doubles

Faced with a 2,600-chip bet on the flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Scott Montgomery moved all in for for his last 15,050 and found a caller.

Montgomery: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The turn and river fell the {4-Spades} and {8-Clubs} to see Montgomery double to over 32,000 as he continues to battle it out three-handed.

Makowsky Crippled

Doesn't run too bad this guy.
Doesn't run too bad this guy.
Phil Ivey has crippled Daniel Makowsky after taking the lead on the river in a hand. The board read {2-Spades} {3-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} and Ivey's {A-Clubs} {2-Hearts} got there on the river against Makowsky's {K-?} {9-?}.

H -ought-on

Davidi Kitai has taken care of Laurence "rivermanl" Houghton. The last of Houghton's chips went in on the river with pocket queens. Kitai tabled pocket fours though that had made a set on the flop.

Demidov Takes Control

Ivan Demidov has nearly half the chips in play at his table after he caught a lovely river card to double up. All in preflop with {8-Clubs} {8-Spades} versus {A-Spades} {J-Hearts}, he thought it was all over when the flop came {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {7-Hearts}. But after the turn {5-Hearts} changed nothing, a miracle {8-Diamonds} fell on the river.
