(Not Johnny) Chan Doubles

No Johnny here!
No Johnny here!
Terrence Chan opened to 900 from the cutoff. Jeremy Joseph called on the button and the small blind bumped it to 3,100 total.

Chan called, but Joseph decided to push all in. The small blind passed and the action was on Chan and his decision for his tournament life.

After close to three minutes of deliberating, Chan made the call for his last 13,625, and the cards were tabled.

Joseph: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Chan: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Chan would slam his hand down on the table when he saw the window drop the {K-Spades}, but when he looked back at the board again, he saw the {K-Spades}{3-Clubs}{A-Spades} full flop spread.

Now in the lead, he evaded another king when the {6-Diamonds} and {5-Spades} fell on the turn and river.

Joseph was left crippled with 1,300, and 'Not Johnny' Chan raked in the pot to move to over 37,000 and change.
