Fernandez bet sixth street and then seventh as well. On seventh though, Kostritsyn didn't just call, he raised. Fernandez made the call. Kostritsyn announced that he had a flush and showed the from the hole. Fernandez patted the table and mucked his hand, dropping to 17,000 chips. Kostritsyn is up to 97,200.
Michael Binger and Joe Cassidy had gone back and forth with the betting through sixth street, at which point Binger had (X)(X) and Cassidy (X)(X).
The dealer dealt seventh street, but accidentally delivered Cassidy's last card face up -- . The floor was called, and it was ruled that Binger's seventh street card would also be turned over, and betting could then commence. Binger's last card was . Cassidy bet, Binger called, Cassidy turned over for 8-6-5-2-A, and Binger mucked.
Binger is still ahead of the pack with 124,000, while Cassidy has 45,000.
Jennifer Harman was just eliminated -- about 15 spots from the cash. Having gotten short-stacked, she was all in at the start of a stud hand against three other players, and ultimately her hand couldn't outrace all of her opponents.
Nick Frangos fired a bet into Keith Lehr on a flop of . Lehr made the call and then the hit the felt on the turn. Frangos bet again and Lehr folded.
Another player at the table commented on the hand, speculating what each player held. Lehr said, "I had a pair of sevens. If they turn didn't come a queen, I was going to raise him."
Frangos responded, "He played it perfect. He called when he had the best hand and folded when I had the best hand. He played it perfect."
