Klodnicki Quietly Amassing Chips

No-Limit Hold'em

Chris Klodnicki has been quietly building his stack. Almost as quietly as when he finished 12th in the Main Event last year for nearly $600,000.

On a flop of {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} {6-Clubs}, Rami Boukai checked to Klodnicki. Klodnicki checked behind. The turn was the {7-Spades} and Boukai bet out. Klodnicki called. The river brought the {9-Hearts} and Boukai checked to Klodnicki. Instead of checking behind this time, Klodnicki fired a bet of 8,000. Boukai folded, allowing Klodnicki to gather in the pot. He now has 146,000 chips.
