The Final Day Upon Us

Chip leader, Tom Thomas
Chip leader, Tom Thomas
Last night saw play round out with 28 players left in the field for this year's Seniors World Championship. Tom Thomas will be the chip leader, with nearly a third more than his closest competitor. He holds 917,000 chips.

The staff accommodated the players last night by letting them leave a little earlier than 3:00 AM. That should help the players get some extra rest and be ready to finish out the long grind today. Whether it be skill or luck, one player will come out on top at the end of the day and claim the gold bracelet. Along with the bracelet will come over $430,000 in prize money!

Stay tuned for live coverage from PokerNews as we kick things off at 1:00 PM local time.
