Grinded Out

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi - Out
Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi - Out
A player in early position opened with a raise to 4,000. Michiel Brummelhuis made the call, and Michael Mizrachi potted it to 18,400. The original raiser called, and Brummelhuis instantly re-potted it to cover both players. Mizrachi called all in for just a couple thousand more. The original raiser finally ducked out and let the other two duke it out.

Mizrachi tabled {Q-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}, racing for his tournament life against Brummelhuis' {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}.

An ace on the flop was no fun for the grinder, and he failed to improve on a board of {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {5-Spades} {4-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}. He's out with just about 100 players left.

Brummelhuis, on the other hand, has vaulted up to 182,000 in chips, good enough to put him near the top of the board.
