Josh Schlein Eliminated in 5th Place ($48,028)

Josh Schlein - 5th Place
Josh Schlein - 5th Place
It was inevitable that Josh Schlein would lose one of his all-in confrontations. He'd been living dangerously for at least the last hour. He got all 110,000 of his chips in the middle against Derek Raymond. Two ugly hands were opened.

Raymond: {Q-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}
Schlein: {5-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}

Each player hit a pair on the {Q-Clubs} {A-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} flop. They also had low draws, although Raymond's was the better draw. When the {J-Clubs} hit the turn, we were ready to say goodbye to Schlein. He was out of the feature table area with an {8-Clubs} river.

Finally, we're down to four players.
