Greg "FBT" Mueller raised from middle position, Flaminio Malaguti called from the button, and Millie Shiu also called from the big blind. The flop came {7-Hearts}

. Shiu checked, Mueller bet, Malaguti called, and Shiu folded. The turn was the {9-Diamonds}

. Mueller again bet, and Malaguti again called.

The river was the {J-Diamonds}

, and once again Malaguti called Mueller's bet. Mueller showed {K-Spades}

for jacks, and Malaguti mucked.

Shiu Stumbles

Millie Shiu raised from early position, and it folded around to Marc Naalden in the small blind who made it three bets. Flaminio Malaguti folded the BB, and Shiu called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}

. Naalden bet, and Shiu called. The turn brought the {5-Hearts}

, and Naalden again bet, but this time Shiu let it go.

Shiu is down to 365,000, while Naalden chips back up to 420,000.

. Mueller checked, Malaguti bet, and Mueller called. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}

, and again Mueller check-called Malaguti's bet.

The river brought the {K-Clubs}

. Mueller once more checked, Malaguti once more bet, Mueller check-raised, and Malugti called. Mueller showed {K-Spades}

for the rivered pair of kings, and Malaguti mucked, saying he had ace-queen as he did.

A little over halfway through Level 1 now, and David Williams has edged out into an early lead, chipping up to 550,000. Joep Van Den Bijgaart took a couple of hits early to fall near the 300,000-chip mark, but has climbed back a bit, helped in part by a hand in which he turned quad kings against his fellow countryman, Marc Naalden.

board and the Dutchman called him down, only for Bijgaart to muck when Williams flipped {A-Clubs}

on the river.

Marc Naalden has dropped below 400,000 after check calling three streets against David Williams before folding the river of a {K-Diamonds}

board.

He then called a reraise on the button against Flaminio Malaguti small blind reraise, the latter firing every street of a {6-Diamonds}

board and getting there with {J-Diamonds}
