Mucked Up

Scott Kittle just won his match, with the last hand providing a somewhat unusual finish.

The community cards for the final hand together constituted an A-2-3-4-5 straight. Kittle tabled his cards, but his short-stacked opponent who had been all in didn't see the straight and mucked. He realized it afterwards, but by then it was too late, and Kittle moves on.

Patelidas Victorious

Antonio Patelidas has knocked out William Erickson. On the final hand, Patelidas raised from the button, and Erickson called with the last of his chips.

Patelidas had {A-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Erickson {K-Hearts}{8-Spades}. The board came out {7-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}, and Patelidas moves on.
