Andre Dias Shows A Bluff

On a board of {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} the small blind bet out 16,000 and Andre Dias made the call from the cutoff. The river brought the {9-Diamonds} and after a 25,000 bet from the small blind, Dias raised to 75,000.

The small blind folded his hand and Dias showed {A-Hearts} {8-Spades} for just ace high.

Jacob's Ladder

Under the gun, Alex Jacob came in with a raise to 20,000. Action passed around to the small blind who came in as the only caller.

Heads up then, the flop came down {9-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}. After a check, Jacob continued out with 25,000 more chips. His opponent put in a check-raise to 100,000, and Jacob moved all in for 200,500. With Jacob having him slightly covered, the opponent called all in to put himself at risk of elimination.

Showdown
Jacob: {8-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}
Opponent: {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

The jacks were in the lead, but Jacob had a monster draw to try and catch up. The {10-Diamonds} on the turn was one of his out cards as he improved to the flush and left his opponent drawing only to the four-out full house. The river {K-Spades} was a blank though, and pocket jacks go broke.

Jacob is quite healthy now with 460,000 chips to play with.

Viktoria Szilasi Takes a Big Hand

Phong Huynh raised from middle position and Viktoria Szilasi three bet from behind. Action folded back around to Huynh who moved all in for 200,000. Viktoria Szilaski made the call.

Phong Huynh: {A-?} {3-?}
Viktoria Szilasi: {J-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

The board came {8-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {7-Clubs} allowing Szilasi's hand to hold up, eliminating Huynh.

So overcome by winning the large pot, Szilasi let out a high pitched shriek in excitement that could be heard across the whole room. Tournament officials were forced to give her a one hand penalty for excessive celebration.

Fisher All Smiles

Cole Fisher opened the pot with a raise to 20,000 from middle position. Next door, Michael Gagliano reraised to 54,000. The action wasn't done yet though. When it came to the big blind, he moved all in over the top of both players. Fisher then moved all in with a covering stack, and Gagliano called all in as well!

Showdown
Fisher: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Gagliano: {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}
Big blind: {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} {5-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}. Everyone gets a full house, but only one man wins the chips. With his kings full of aces, Cole Fisher has knocked off two players, chipping up to 420,000.

"I'm smiles from ear to ear," he said as he raked in the chips.
