Shelton Kings Levy

In early position, Steven Levy raised to 2,800. Kenneth Shelton was a few seats over, and he re-raised to 7,000. Levy called, and the flop came out {3-Spades} {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}. Levy checked, then called a bet of 15,500 from Shelton.

The turn card was the {2-Diamonds}. Levy again checked, and Shelton moved all in for 30,900. Levy instantly called. Shelton tabled {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} for the big full house, but Levy's {A-Hearts} {A-Diamonds} gave him the biggest full house. The {8-Spades} on the river was a blank, and that's that.

Levy has doubled his stack up to 110,000, while Shelton has slipped back to 85,000.

Bolstering the Levy

Before the flop, a player in the cutoff had raised, and Steven Levy came along from the button.

The flop came down {K-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}, and the player in the cutoff seat continued out with a bet of 5,000. Levy made the call, and fourth street came the {Q-Clubs}. It brought another bet from the cutoff, 7,000 this time. Levy moved all in for about 24,000, and his opponent surrendered.

Levy has chipped up to 36,000.

Jason Potter Takes Pot on River

Jason Potter
On a board of {J-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {7-Clubs} the small blind checked and Jason Potter bet 7,800. His opponent made the call.

The river brought the {3-Spades} and again the small blind checked. Potter took time to stage his chips and slid out a large bet of 22,800. His opponent mucked {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} face up and Potter took the pot.

Jason Potter - 128,600.

Heavyweights

As if things weren't challenging enough for the players at Table 272. Their afternoon began with Ryan Price and Chris Bonita both sitting with over 100,000 in chips. Just to brighten everyone's day, the 135,000-chip stack of Kenneth Shelton has just joined the fun over on that table, putting a ton of chips in play there.

In their first few minutes at the same table, the three men got together in a small pot. They checked through a flop of {A-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {A-Clubs}. When the {6-Hearts} hit the turn, Shelton checked, and Bonita bet 4,400. Price folded before Shelton check-raised to 20,000, and it was good enough to win him the pot right there. We'll definitely be keeping an eye on this potential powder keg.

All In

The most commmon pharse heard around the room in the early goings of the day is "All in". About 30 players started the day with less than 10 big blinds, leading to a lot of pushing with any decent holding.
