Esfandiari Introduces Himself to the Amazon Room

A three-way all-in on Table 60 has resulted in A nice chip-up for Antonio Esfandiari and the elimination of Alexander Jung. Karga Holt started the action by raising to 20,000. Jung was next to act and moved in for 42,000. Action then folded to Esfandiari in the small blind, who re-shipped for 109,000 total. Holt made a reluctant call.

"I think I have the best hand," said Jung as the cards were tabled. He was right.

Holt: {A-Hearts} {6-Hearts}
Jung: {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}
Esfandiari: {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}

Esfandiari stood on his chair for a flop of {J-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {J-Clubs}. Jung was crestfallen to see the {A-Diamonds} spike on the turn. When then {5-Diamonds} hit the river, Esfandiari raised his arms over his head and let out a primal yell.

Jung was eliminated, while Holt slipped to 107,000. Esfandiari dragged both pots to climb to 260,000.
