Naalden Shoots Down Rockets

After a player limped from under the gun, Marc Naalden -- who has won one WSOP bracelet this summer as well as finished runner-up in another event -- raised to 1,100 from the cutoff. The button called, the blinds folded, and the UTG player called as well.

The flop came {K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. The player under the gun led with a bet of 1,900, Naalden raised to 6,000, and the button reraised all in for just a little more than 6,000. The UTG player folded, and Naalden called the small reraise.

Naalden showed {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the flush draw, but his opponent had gotten sneaky with {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades} and now had a set of aces. The turn was the {5-Clubs}, changing nothing. But the river was the {10-Hearts}, giving Naalden the flush and eliminating his opponent.

Naalden is currently sitting at about 40,000.
