We're Back
Relatively speaking, the Amazon Room is somewhat subdued this evening. The other final tables have finished up, and Event No. 56 is now the last bracelet event still running until the big one starts Friday.
There's a Main Event satellite running on the other side of the ballroom, and the usual clutch of cash games that continue around the clock. Not a lot of noise coming from those corners of the room, though. There are about three dozen spectators, however, gathered around the ropes to watch Event No. 56 play out. And we're hearing their reactions to what they're witnessing now and again.
Someone unfamiliar with the WSOP who just happened by might be surprised to know that millions of dollars are on the line. Indeed, there is over $3 million worth of the prize pool still up for grabs, with a whopping $1,003,163 going to the victor.
