Cada Continues to Slide

Eric Buchman made it 720,000 from the small blind and Joe Cada defended his big blind.

Both players checked the {Q-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} flop. The turn was the {K-Spades} and Buchman checked to Cada who bet 1.1 million. Buchman insta-called and they went to the river which fell the {8-Diamonds}. Check-check.

Buchman turned over {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}, besting Cada's {J-Spades} {10-Spades} and picked up yet another pot.

Cada is down to 12.26 million.

Kopp Bests Lamb

Billy Kopp opened for 600,000 from UTG+1, and got one caller in Ben Lamb sitting in the hijack seat. Both checked the {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds} flop as well as the {9-Clubs} turn. The river was the {Q-Clubs}. Kopp checked, Lamb fired 925,000, and Kopp made the call.

Lamb showed {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} for queens, but Kopp's {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs} gave him the better pair. Kopp is at 17.2 million, and Lamb down to 5 million.

Buchman Puts the Pressure On

Joe Cada kept his foot on the gas, raising to 600,000 from UTG. Antoine Saout flat-called from the button and Eric Buchman called from the big blind.

The flop was {A-Spades} {8-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. Buchman checked, Cada bet 1,000,000, Saout folded, and Buchman called. The turn came the {5-Clubs}, the three clubs on the board eliciting an "oooh" from the crowd. Buchman bet 2.5 million, Saout folded and Buchman took it down.

Buchman is up to 33.95 million.

Shulman Pushes Out Smith

Jordan Smith opened with a raise to 750,000 from under the gun, and Jeff Shulman, sitting to Smith's left, made the call.

The others folded and the flop came {K-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Smith continued with a bet of 650,000, then Shulman raised to 1.7 million.

Smith thought a moment while the crowd at the neighboring table continued to roar following that two-outer hit by Jamie Robbins to survive. Finally, Smith let it go.

Shulman is up to 15.1 million, and Smith is at 15.7 million.

Cada Drops Another Pot

Eric Buchman raised to 650,000 from UTG and Joe Cada called.

The flop was{4-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} and Buchman bet 900,000. Cada made the call. The {2-Diamonds} rolled off on the turn and Buchman fired again for 1.5 million. Cada folded and Buchman took it down.

Calderaro Living Dangerously

Action folded to Darvin Moon on the button. He opened for 700,000 in front of small blind James Calderaro. Calderaro reraised to 1.8 million straight. That brought the action to Billy Kopp, who put in the third raise, to 3.6 million. Moon quickly folded and Calderaro open-mucked {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}.

Kopp now has 16 million, while Calderaro is short with just 3.0 million.

Lamb Laughs Last

The players keep raising and reraising. It feels like a big hand is going to be upon us very shortly. We thought we might have one when Ben Lamb raised from early position to 700,000 and Jeff Shulman reraised the button to 1.2 million. But Shulman folded to an all-in shove from Lamb.

Moon Wins Blinds Battle with Shulman

The table folded around to Jeff Shulman who raised to 750,000 from the small blind, and Darvin Moon called from the big blind.

The flop came {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Shulman checked, and Moon checked behind. The turn brought the {10-Hearts}. Shulman bet 950,000 this time, and when Moon put in a raise Shulman let it go.

Moon is at 25.4 million, and Shulman 14.7 million.
